Primarily used on residential homes and the most popular products in the US residential roofing market. Wooden Shake/Shingle

Wood roofing is predominately made from cedar, but can also be made from redwood and southern pine. The primary difference between the shakes and shingles is that shingles are machine-sawn while shakes are hand split for a rougher appearance.
