  • We can repair your roof and work with your manufacturer’s warranty if it still qualifies for one, even if we did not install the roof.

  • Every GAF roof comes with a 10-year warranty. We offer a 25-year Extended Workmanship Warranty and stand behind the Manufacturer Warranty.

General Roofing FAQs

  • An average roof can cost between $6,000-$15,000. However, the price can vary depending on the size of your roof, design of your roof, and the materials used.  

  • Have a regular roof inspection to address any damage or wear and tear while it is a small problem that is easily repaired. Regularly clean your gutters and trim any tree limbs that hang over your roof.

  •  Your roof should be inspected once a year and after you have any extreme weather like a hail, snow, or wind storm.

  • If you have damage to your roof, the age of your roof and whether the damage is localized or widespread can help determine if you should fully replace your roof or just get it repaired. 
    We at LaFever Roofing take pride in being completely honest with our customers and not exaggerating or suggesting an expensive service that you don’t need.  
    When we inspect your roof we will not suggest a full replacement if it doesn’t need one. We will talk with you about why we suggest either roof repair, or a full reroofing.

  • ● We use the best materials available for your home. No single supplier can offer all you might need, so we offer a variety of choices.
    ● Asphalt Shingles: GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning Metal roofs: R-Panel, corrugated metal roofing, architectural standing seam, copper, steel, aluminum, or tin.● Flat Roofs: We use TPO and PVC.  Tile: concrete tile, clay tile.
    We also install slate, cedar, and engineered/composite shingles.

  • 1. First, contact your insurance company as soon as possible.2. Assess the damage and take photos.3. Temporarily cover any exposed areas with a tarp to prevent further water damage until a roofing contractor can come to make repairs.4. Document everything. Keep detailed records of the damage including photos, dates, and communication with your insurance company and roofing contractor.

Insurance FAQs

  • Yes, we provide you with the necessary repairs or replacement based on your insurance claim.  

  • Read your policy to see what it covers and if it lists any exclusions. If you can’t find it or it is confusing to you, call your homeowner insurance provider to ask what your specific policy provides. Your insurance provider can determine if your roof damage qualifies for coverage.

  • Yes, we will provide written and photo documentation for you to submit to your insurance. We will advocate for you with the insurance adjuster.

  • In many cases homeowners insurance will pay for a new roof if it is damaged due to an accident or a storm. Typical wear and tear is usually not covered. Contact your insurance provider to understand exactly what your policy covers.
